*Confratute for Credit Registration

Confratute conference registration and billing are separate from the strand for credit registration and billing. Credit registration is not included in the conference registration fees. You will register for Confratute credit just like you register for your other classes in the UConn StudentAdmin system.

 Academic Credit

Any Confratute topic/strand can be taken for academic credit, earning you three (3) graduate credits for subject/course number and title EPSY 5195: Workshop in Education OR EPSY 5198: Curriculum Lab. You can register for either one.

Topic/Strand Selection and Product Development

Participants who register and pay for graduate credit will select a topic/strand as their “major” and work independently with their strand coordinator (instructor) to develop an independent project or product to fulfill the requirements for earning credit in either EPSY 5195 or 5198.

Daily attendance for the full Confratute program is required.

You will discuss with your strand coordinator what you would like to do for a strand product for credit. You should work with the strand coordinator to complete a Management-Plan.pdf (uconn.edu).  Complete the product and submit it and your Management Plan to the strand coordinator (instructor) either during Confratute or before the October 1, 2024 deadline, to have your grade submitted to the Registrar. Should you need your grade submitted prior to October 1, 2024, please inform your strand coordinator (instructor).

Pay Course Fee Bill

Payment for academic credit is a separate, additional cost beyond the Confratute conference registration fee. Summer 2024 fees are as follows: Course fee $3,141.00 for three (3) graduate credits, activity fee $16.00, enrollment fee $45.00, and technology fee of $30.00. These fees will be billed to your UConn account. Complete your credit card or e-check payment online using the student administration system http://www.studentadmin.uconn.edu/ .
